Customer Service

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

When will I receive my proof & stamp?
(1) We will email a proof to you within 24 hours of your order (during business days Mon-Fri).  This proof is for you to review everything (copy, layout, specifications) and approve or make changes. If you make any changes, we will email another proof for your approval. You must approve this proof before we will start production on your stamp.

(2)
Once we receive your approval on the proof, production time is 3-5 business days.

(3) The stamp approval/production process cannot be rushed. If you want your stamp as fast as possible, Overnight Shipping is available.
Once I see the proof, what if I don't like it? Can I make changes or cancel my order?
If you don't like your layout once you see the proof, don't worry, you're not "stuck" with it.  We're happy to make changes and will email a new proof to you. We will provide up to 3 complimentary proofs if necessary.  More than 3 proofs will incur a small fee (to be approved by you first).

If you ultimately don't like any of the complimentary proofs, you can always cancel your order without penalty (as long as it's before you approve anything).

What type of ink do you use for your stamp products?
Our stamp pads and self-inking stamps use water-based ink. Water-based ink is formulated to stamp on absorbent paper.  It will not dry on non-absorbent paper (glossy, coated, foil, or metallic stocks).

If you want to stamp on non-absorbent paper, purchase our traditional rubber stamp.  Then visit your local art/scrapbooking store to purchase stamp pads designed to work on non-absorbent paper.
How long does the self-inking stamp last?
The ink pad in your self-inking stamp lasts for thousands of impressions or approx. 6 months.

If the ink pad dries up, you can try to rejuvinate it with a few drops of water. Let soak in for about 15 minutes before you try the stamp again.  If that doesn't help, you can purchase replacement ink pads from us.  You can also re-ink your original pad using water-based ink designed for self-inking stamps (Ideal brand preferred).  Never used other types of ink, as they may damage the self-inking stamp.
Tips & Troubleshooting for Traditional Rubber Stamps
INKING: Be careful not to get too much ink on your stamp. Too much ink produces a bad impression. It’s best to lightly tap the stamp a few times onto the stamp pad. Do not press the stamp down hard on the stamp pad, or else you will get too much ink on the stamp. Be especially careful if using a sponge ink pad, since they press down far and will easily get too much ink on the stamp.

STAMPING: To get the best impression, stamp on a flat surface with even pressure. Do not rock the stamp back and forth too much.

CLEANING: It is best to clean the stamp after each use, and before using a different ink color. If using water-based ink, you can clean the stamp with a damp paper towel or baby wipe. If using oil-based ink, it’s best to use a stamp cleaning solution that should be sold at the same location where you purchased the ink. Be very gentle when cleaning so you don’t damage the rubber stamp plate.

BLEEDING: Due to the type of paper or type of ink you use, your stamp impression may bleed or spread out. If this happens, it’s best to try different paper or ink. It is not due to a problem with the stamp itself.
